Today is Natsuki's birthday. So I made caramel shortbread for her and Kaori(her birthday is a week after Natsuki's birthday)♥ In Scot land Ms. Kane's mother made it to us and it was really really great!! All of us liked it. When I was asked what was the best food I had eaten in Britain by Mr. Harris, I answered Ms. Kane's mother's caramel short bread without pose! So I really wanted to eat this and tried to look for the recipe. But I didn't know even the name... Finally I found the recipe and I remember Natsuki and Kaori really liked this in Britain and their birthday came soon. So I made it yesterday♪
To make caramel short bread was not so difficult but I made some mistakes...
●short bread
butter : 150g
granulated sugar : tablespoon 4
flour : 150g
●caramel
butter : 125g
brown sugger : 100g
honey : tablespoon 2
condensed milk : 120ml
●chocolate
chocolate : 350g
<recipe>
1. Heat the oven 180℃
2. Make short bread.
Put the butter(make it soft by room temperature), granulated sugar, flour into the bowl and mix them up.
3. Put them into the shape and bake it for 20 minutes in the oven.
After bake make it cool.
4. Make the caramel.
Put the butter, brown sugger honey, condensed milk into pot.
Simmer it with low heat for about 7 munite. (Pay attention! It easily burn. Low heat and mix it well)
5. Put caramel onto the short bread.
And make it cool in the refrigerator.
6. Make chocolate's streak.
Break the plate of chocolates and put them into the bowl.
Boil the water and put the bowl in it. (Pay attention don't get water in the bowl)
Mix the chocolate until it melt.
7. Put the melt chocolate on the caramel streak and make it cool in the refrigerator.
I think we need more flour for short bread. It was too weak and easy to collapse when we eat and take out it from the shape. Another recipe says 150g butter and 225g flour. I should try this recipe again!
Tell me when you wanna eat this I will make! And if you have trouble ask me or Ms. Kane or her mother. I think they know much better than me do, of course!

Country I want to go!
I would like to learn English in the UK.
There are a lot of language schools so the UK is one of good countries to learn English.
Now I’m interested in summer school and if I could I want to participate in one of those.
Additionally people in the UK were kind to me.
Especially my host mother and other people who took care of me when I went to Oxford three years ago helped me a lot.
I want to go there by myself someday and to meet my host family and other people I met last time.
Finally I want to look the cut old buildings in the UK as many as I can.
They were very different from Japanese ones and really beautiful.
From first time I looked at Blenheim palace, I’m really captive of buildings in the UK.
I would like to visit there again and again and to find more attractive things every time!

My degital camera♪
My digital camera is important so I bring it wherever I go. My very memorable pictures are in it. I can remember and think about my old friends, university friends and places I went with them thank to my camera. And to take new memorable ones I always bring it. Additionally, my father gave it to me when I came to Shimane. It was my father's camera but he gave it to me because I became a member of the photo club. It’s also a good camera. It’s easy to use and pictures which are taken by this camera are really beautiful and rarely blurred. It’s one of important reasons I continue to use this little bit old camera from my father. Finally even though it is little bit old I want to use it as long as I can. I love my Canon digital camera very much.

VIETNAM!
I went to Vietnam from 22th of December to 31st . It was my first time to go to Asian country so lots of things were surprising to me. We enjoy Vietmee food, swimming, shopping and so on. We also joined volunteer. We brought note books to 13 schools because they lost lots of things when the big flood came. Life in Vietnam is very different from ours and some of them are very poor. I expected to some extend but it was surprising. But they have amassing culture. All of them are good experiences for me.
Please enjoy pictures of Vietnam! I'll post some stories next time.

SNOW!
It has been cold little by little and we had little in Hamada! I really like snow because it's beautiful. In my home town, Toyama, we have a lot of snow every year. Look at this picture! In Mt. Tate we have really much snow and in May we can see this snow wall there. (In winter we can't enter Mt. Tate because of the snow) When I went there at first time I was so surprised and moved! So if you have chance to go to Toyama, Why don't you visit there ♪ It is also good to go hiking in Mt. Tate in Fall or Summer.
